The following are stipulated within the Ordinance no 58 from 01/30/2000 concerning the modification of the Romanian Government Ordinance 21/1992 related to the consumer protection:

"Art. 20. The manufacturer must inform the public as to the product denomination, manufacturer's denomination and/or brand, manufacturer's address, quantity and as the case may be, guarantee period, validity, minimal durability date, the main technical and quality features, contents, possible predictable risks, instructions for use, handling, storage and contraindications.
Long-use products must be accompanied by the guarantee certificate and, as the case may be, by the conformity statement, technical manual or by the instructions for use, assembly, operation, maintenance, issued by the manufacturer.
The seller must inform the public about the price of the product and to provide all the information and technical documents that must be delivered together with that product.
Any information must be written in Romanian, irrespective of the origin country of that product, without excluding the foreign languages."
