legal translations

Our Agency provides professional translation services from Romanian into European and other languages (click here for details).

You must know that the Romanian Authorities may not recognize a translation from a foreign language in Romanian, executed in any other country than Romania. We don't know the reasons of such a refusal, since there isn't any legal foundation. But, if you don't want to pay twice for the same services, you'd better translate / certify your documents in Romania.

Any translations from a foreign language into Romanian are performed by Romanian native speakers!

USEFUL INFORMATION: Also, before asking for the translation of your documents, please make sure that:
1 - your personal data written in such a document are in accordance with the real facts - we are speaking especially about the judgments, where names, places, etc. are often misspelled.
The translator must translate the names as they appear in the original document.
2 - your documents are bearing all the necessary endorsements, i.e. the endorsements from the competent Ministries (e.g.: for medical certificates - from the Ministry of Health and Family) and from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Apostille) as well. Some countries (especially Italy and Spain) are demanding expressly such endorsements for the purpose of proving that the document is an original.

3 - any documents related to one's civil status are designed for international use - the old ones aren't recognized abroad. The certificates for international use are issued by the registrar's office that also issued the old certificates.
4 - the documents are legible and don't bear any corrections or modifications. In such a case, any corrections or modifications must be endorsed / signed by the representative of the authority issuing that document.
5 - For any translations from Russian, Greek or Hebrew, you'd better have a copy of holder's passport or ID, where his / her names are spelled with Latin characters.
